Can you answer slinky’s question about Menopause?:
If so how long is the recovery? What should I expect?
I’ve never had any kind of surgery before, my doctor says I need a hysterectomy and is sending me to a urologist, he says they can do both surgeries together.

Menopause Feedback: I had a partial hysterectomy at 24. They did it vaginally (no incision) and they always have to move your bladder when they do that… at least they did with me.
I drove myself to the doctor 3 days after I got out of the hospital, so my recovery time was very short - but again, I didn’t have an incision.
If they are making an incision, probably 2 or 3 weeks before you really start feeling better. I didn’t ‘notice’ anything with my bladder after the surgery, but had constant UTI’s for a year or so after.
Good Luck!
