How do I know when I am postmenopausal?
Answered By Macy Waltersson and Brian Laing, Editors
Post menopause begins after menopause, a year
after having your last menstruation period.
Having passed the transition period, you are
now at post menopausal. It is now time for
most women to be aware of the possible
illnesses that they may encounter due to the
cessation of their menstruation. This may
include heart disease, osteoporosis, and
cancer. It would be wise to take up a healthy
lifestyle for you to have good health
conditions during your post menopausal years.
